Artist Statement: SKILL PROFILE I am imaginative, competent and enthusiastic illustrator, graphic designer & web designer with many years artistic design experience. I have a thorough working knowledge of key design applications including Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, and also web authoring so Dreamweaver basic and advanced course in 2004 and I have developed these skills to include my own site www.nellyb.co.uk, a site for two artists www.thatmonkey.co.uk, and at present www.junkart.biz I have an excellent understanding of print specification and good knowledge of repro techniques, and an excellent general knowledge of I.T particularly Mac based. Working freelance I have become fully accustomed to the importance of deadlines and communicating with clients to create imaginative solutions to meet their needs, on many projects including full web design, publicity flyers, logos, and design consultation. I also run voluntary workshops with groups of home educated children, teaching animation, filming and editing techniques, story boarding and illustration. Client - Shiam Wilcox 2005-present I have worked on many projects for Shiam Wilcox including flyer design, poster design and web design. Current project a web site showcasing Shiam’s portfolio and educational workshops, www.junkart.biz Client - John Starkey 2005-present I have completed and now host and manage a website for this client and Shiam Wilcox www.thatmonkey.co.uk Client - Reframe Hypnotherapy, Coventry, UK 2005-2006 I have worked for this client as a design consultant, and I have designed flyers for them.
