What themes run throughout your work? Delusion of grandeur, daydreaming, goal setting, and people dealing with life changing decisions/dilemmas.
What makes you decide to create your work? I like reading stories and writing them. I’m much better at writing a story then verbal story telling. There is something euphoric about mulling over an idea, writing it out, typing it out, and completing it. And even revision is not as bad as it used to be.
What successes have you had so far? Two stories published on hackwriters.com, and now Magnus. It feels good after seven years since being a English/Writing undergrad. I kept at it.
What was the first creative thing that you ever did? I found a 2nd grade story book about an army of mice. I don’t actually remember creating it though.
What inspires you? Classic, contemporary literature and everyday experience.
Ignoring money and all of life’s woes, what would you want to be? Writer.
Accepting the need for money and all of life’s woes, what do you want to be? A fulfilling career as a Librarian, and a dedicated hobbyist writer.
Who/what is your nemesis and why? Cigarettes, I’m having a hard time quitting.
